Welcome to Chill Type (“Chill Type”, “we,” “us” or “our”). By accessing or using our website (chilltype.com), products, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

Definitions

• “Font Software” or “Fonts”: The software or digital representation of fonts provided by us.
• “User” or “You”: Any individual or entity accessing or using our services.
  

User Responsibilities

You agree to use our Services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not use our Services to engage in any unlawful or prohibited activities, including but not limited to:

• Posting or transmitting any content that is infringing, libelous, or otherwise unlawful.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or those of our users.
• Engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Services.

Intellectual Property Rights

Upon full payment, you are purchasing the rights to use the fonts as specified in this agreement. The license is non-transferable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, perpetual and revocable. You are not purchasing the copyrights, trademarks and the designs embodied in the fonts. The copyright remains with Chill Type.

Payment & Refunds

Payment

Payments for our Services are processed through Paddle.com, a secure third-party payment gateway. By purchasing our Font Software, you agree to pay the specified amount at the time of purchase. Paddle.com handles all payment transactions, and their terms and conditions apply to such transactions.

Refunds

We aim to produce our fonts to the highest standards. If you, however, encounter a problem with a Chill Type font you purchased, send us an e-mail with a description of the problem to hey@chilltype.com and we will try to fix it within the next 30 days. If the problem can’t be solved by Chill Type, a refund might be issued which would terminate the license you purchased.

Privacy Policy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the handling of your personal data.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Chill Type be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the Services; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our Services.

Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
